SYNOPSIS
“Dad, don’t erase it. That’s your real face.”
At night, single father Jung Seok becomes a drag queen under dazzling lights, embracing the person he truly is. But fearing that society’s prejudice might hurt his eight year old daughter Eun Soo, he gives up drag and hides behind the role of a “normal father.” Eun Soo, however, sees no contradiction in her father. To her, he is simply the most sparkling dad in the world. Determined to bring back the part of him he has erased, she begins a reckless and mischievous mission, even stealing and reselling cosmetics to help him return to the stage.
EYE looks at the world through a child’s eyes and questions the boundaries adults impose in the name of normality and protecting children. Through the relationship between Jung Seok and Eun Soo, the film asks whether the desire to protect children has instead become a reason to erase difference. Ultimately, it suggests that family is not defined by gender, convention, or social expectations, but by the courage to accept someone exactly as they are.

SYNOPSIS
After the death of their father, Jang Deok, the three siblings rely on each other to survive. Their names are Jang Hyun, Jang Man, and Jang Soo-mi. Jang Hyun struggles to make money outside the home to take care of his younger siblings, but he is becoming impoverished by the harsh environment of his workplace. Jang Man has been ostracized because he has no parents at school and is subject to social consideration. He has dropped out, is studying for the qualification exam, and has been unable to take care of himself because he is taking care of his sick younger sister at home. Jang Soo-mi is deaf and suffers from intellectual disabilities, so she does not learn sign language properly and relies on her instincts.
Jang Hyun, who has become the head of the household and must take responsibility for his family, continues to endure the malicious harassment of his boss and works to make money, but now he is not even receiving his wages properly. Hyun has to make money. Man has to take care of his sister. Soo-mi has to live. Their lives have begun.
One day, Jang Hyun is unbearably humiliated by and finally succumbs to the factory manager who bullies him at work. Soon, he decides to commit suicide and calls his siblings, hoping to share one last supper with them at home. But…
